District Manager - UAE

Role overview

The District Manager leads the business and day-to-day operations across several store locations in the UAE. This role partners with home office teams, peers, and direct leadership to share market insights and help shape regional plans that improve overall performance. The district includes Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

What you will own

You will guide a diverse, multi-layered store organization, creating an outstanding in-store customer experience while driving measurable business outcomes. The role covers store leadership, people development, operational execution, and delivery of core business goals.

Scope of the district

This position manages 6 to 10 company-owned and operated stores, with annual sales volume in the range of $15M to $35M.

Work schedule and travel

The schedule is five days per week. Additional hours or extra days may be needed during peak holiday periods, and some weekends may also be required through the year. Travel is part of the role.

Entry requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Retail background with experience leading more than 3 direct reports and a team of around 30 people.
• Previous exposure to multi-unit management in specialty retail is preferred.
• English fluency is required for collaboration with business partners, and language ability may need to match local country requirements.

Primary responsibilities

• Own district-level performance, including sales and productivity goals, by ensuring strong retail operations in collaboration with teams such as Store Operations, Location Planning, Supply Chain, Health & Safety, and AP.
• Deliver a customer experience that is efficient, welcoming, and simple to navigate.
• Strengthen visual merchandising, including brand presentation, in-store standards, and coordinated floor sets aligned with brand direction.
• Manage workforce planning so staffing and payroll are balanced against store budgets and target needs.
• Track and interpret retail KPIs with a constant focus on operating discipline and execution quality.
• Work closely with key partners across HR, AP, Health & Safety, Maintenance, and Recruiting to resolve district issues quickly.
• Lead, motivate, and grow a diverse store leadership structure across multiple levels.
• Keep staffing levels healthy while identifying, developing, and advancing high-potential talent.
• Build a strong performance culture and create a leadership pipeline for future growth.
• Bring the brand culture and values to life across store teams to support engagement and motivation.

• Presentation standards including floor set completion, replenishment, and visual execution.
