Experienced Painter

Role Summary

This is a short-term commercial painting contract for an experienced professional near Liverpool city centre. The assignment is suited to someone who can commit to a focused two-week block of work and begin immediately.

Work Details

Pay: GBP 20.00 per hour

Assignment length: 2 weeks

Planned start: Monday 15 June 2026

Hours: 08:00 to 16:00

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts

Location: Liverpool, near the city centre

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by sanding, scraping, filling gaps and holes, and masking areas to create a strong base finish.
• Apply undercoats and final coats, including gloss and emulsion work, across walls, ceilings, woodwork and trim for internal and external areas.
• Work independently to a professional standard while keeping pace with tight handover deadlines.
• Keep the work area orderly, use drop cloths correctly, and safeguard nearby fixtures and fittings.

Requirements

• Solid, proven experience in commercial painting or high-end residential painting.
• Full availability to start on-site on Monday 15 June 2026.
• Your own complete set of trade painting tools, brushes, overalls and standard safety boots for site work.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality and a proactive, can-do attitude.
