Role Overview

The Export & Logistic Executive will manage export-import documentation and coordinate day-to-day shipment-related activities. The role involves preparing key commercial papers, monitoring export movements, and staying in touch with banks and multiple logistics stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for handling both pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation, along with the associated coordination required for export operations.

• Prepare export and import documentation before and after shipment.
• Draft commercial documents such as invoices and packing lists.
• Track export shipments and related documentation, including LC-linked paperwork.
• Coordinate with banks for document processing and follow-ups.
• Liaise with CHA, customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, vendors, and transporters.
• Support DGFT-related activities and other export compliance work.

Candidate Profile

The company is looking for a candidate with a background in commerce and hands-on exposure to export-import documentation and logistics coordination.

• Must be able to manage pre and post export-import documentation independently.
• Should be comfortable preparing invoices, packing lists, and related export papers.
• Expected to follow up with banks, CHA, customs, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other external parties.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Com degree in Commerce.

Additional Information

Location: Kolkata, India.

Compensation offered for this role is in the range of INR 4,00,000 to INR 6,00,000 per year.
