Role overview
Binzagr For Industry and Maintenance is hiring a Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth running of its site in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on keeping facilities safe, functional, well-maintained, and compliant, while also improving efficiency and supporting long-term operational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Take charge of day-to-day facility operations so that all areas remain safe, clean, and fully operational.
- Create and run preventive maintenance plans, and coordinate repair work carried out by in-house teams as well as outside contractors.
- Plan the facilities budget, track spending, and support cost-conscious operations.
- Make sure all facilities follow applicable local, state, and federal rules, including health and safety requirements.
- Source, coordinate, and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, while negotiating agreements and monitoring service quality.
- Support space planning efforts to improve layout, usage, and overall functionality.
- Drive sustainability efforts by introducing energy-efficient and environmentally responsible practices.
- Lead, supervise, and develop facility staff to maintain strong performance and professional growth.
- Prepare and keep emergency response plans up to date, and ensure the team is trained and ready to respond.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 2 to 5 years of experience in facilities management or a similar area is needed.
- Strong understanding of facilities operations, maintenance processes, and building systems is expected.
- Experience handling budgets and preparing financial reports is necessary.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and people-management abilities are important for the role.
- The ability to balance several projects and priorities in a busy work environment is required.
- Hands-on familiarity with facility management tools and MS Office is expected.
