Field Trainer (Boutique Based)

Role overview

The boutique Field Trainer supports the retail team by identifying capability gaps, mapping training needs with boutique department managers, and aligning plans with boutique directors. This is a shop-floor role with a strong presence on the sales floor, where the trainer observes day-to-day performance, gives immediate feedback, and coaches Sales Associates based on key performance indicators, NPS, and client experience reports.

The position also owns the boutique onboarding journey and ensures every new joiner completes the in-boutique onboarding program, along with training on Dior applications and retail platforms.

Core training responsibilities

• Create and run a monthly Diorly briefing calendar based on boutique priorities and team development needs.
• Work with the boutique director to design staff development initiatives.
• Watch team performance on the floor and provide timely coaching in line with Dior service, client experience, and brand standards.
• Deliver in-boutique learning sessions and activate training initiatives for all staff members.
• Review training effectiveness using both boutique-level and individual performance outcomes.
• Coordinate follow-up actions with regional training specialists and share results, observations, and emerging training needs.
• Regularly check that learning has been absorbed through assessments, quizzes, and questionnaires.
• Suggest innovative training approaches to the boutique director and ME head of training when the team or boutique situation calls for a different solution.

Additional profile details

This role calls for prior experience in a customer service environment, ideally within luxury retail. It also requires a solid grounding in training and development, the ability to understand and respond to both internal and external client needs with energy and commitment, and comfort using computer software and digital applications.
