About the Role

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a skilled Finance Analysis Specialist for a remote contract position. This role involves applying advanced financial analysis techniques to evaluate and annotate diverse financial data sets. You will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and generating financial reports, leveraging your expertise with financial documentation. A key aspect of this position includes utilizing Google Workspace tools to create, validate, and enhance financial documents and training data for AI model development. You will also perform rigorous audits and validation of financial data to ensure its accuracy, consistency, and reliability. The ideal candidate will identify and suggest improvements to processes based on established financial analysis and reporting best practices. This role requires effective remote collaboration with the client's team, involving clear written and verbal communication to convey findings and insights.

Role Responsibilities

• Apply advanced finance analysis skills to evaluate and annotate various financial scenarios and data sets.
• Review, edit, and generate financial reports drawing on real-world experience with financial documentation.
• Leverage Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) to create, validate, and enhance financial documentation and training data.
• Audit and validate financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for AI model development.
• Identify and recommend process improvements based on best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate remotely with the customer's team, providing clear written and verbal communication to share findings and insights.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in finance-related positions, preferably in financial analysis or reporting roles.
• An educational background in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency with Google Workspace: Docs, Spreadsheets, and Slides.
• Demonstrated ability to perform rigorous data validation and quality control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for remote teamwork.
