Role overview
G. James is seeking a motivated Glass Worker to join the Narangba, Queensland team. This position offers a practical, hands-on entry into Australian manufacturing, with full training provided to help you learn the glass production process from the ground up.
You will be part of a long-established, Australian family-owned business known for stability, quality, and a strong focus on employee development. The company employs more than 1,800 people across Australia.
What you will do
In this manufacturing role, you will contribute across different areas of the glass processing facility and support day-to-day production activity.
- Assist with routine factory operations and production flow
- Move and handle glass safely and carefully
- Learn multiple production tasks through structured training
- Support a busy, fast-moving manufacturing environment
This is a strong opportunity for someone wanting to build technical capability and gain experience in a specialist production setting.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, and eager to learn. Prior experience in a factory, warehouse, or production environment is helpful, while experience working with glass is an advantage rather than a requirement.
