The legal entity is organized as a Delaware limited liability company and is based in Boulder, Colorado.
About the role
This newly established Human Resource Manager position will play an important role in the organization and report to the Senior Director of Operations. You will partner closely with the executive team on company initiatives and hiring needs, while also serving employees on everyday HR matters and related administrative support. The role can be performed remotely, though candidates located in or near Denver are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for employee queries and support-related requests.
- Own end-to-end recruiting activities, including job posting, candidate screening, feedback gathering, background and reference checks, and offer coordination.
- Handle onboarding for new hires and lead welcome/orientation sessions.
- Support benefit enrollment and day-to-day benefits administration.
- Help create and roll out HR policies and procedures.
- Keep HRIS data updated and prepare reports from the employee system.
- Support performance review processes and disciplinary actions.
- Monitor adherence to federal and state employment rules.
- Carry out additional administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while remaining effective in a team environment.
- Strong spoken and written communication abilities.
- Well-developed organization and multitasking skills, with the ability to shift priorities when needed.
- Good judgment and problem-solving capability.
- Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and processes.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, and sometimes high-pressure, environment.
