About the Role
This position is responsible for leading the full range of HR activities across the Group’s Development and Consulting businesses. The role focuses on maintaining smooth daily HR operations, supporting workforce planning, and ensuring HR policies and frameworks are applied consistently. The HR Manager will work closely with business leaders on recruitment, performance, employee relations, and organisational effectiveness, while also contributing to Group HR initiatives as needed.
HR Operations Leadership
- Manage HR service delivery for the Development and Consulting units with an emphasis on efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Supervise and develop the HR Associate so that onboarding, visa processing, HR records, data handling, and employee support are completed accurately and on schedule.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Work with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and shape recruitment plans accordingly.
- Handle recruitment activities from end to end, including defining roles, interviewing candidates, and supporting final selection.
- Carry out salary comparisons and negotiate compensation within the Group’s Compensation & Benefits structure.
- Support manpower planning so headcount requirements match business forecasts and project workloads.
Onboarding & Induction
- Make sure new employees go through a well-organised onboarding experience covering paperwork, system access, and induction planning.
- Deliver or assist with HR induction sessions so new joiners understand the culture, expectations, and company policies.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee queries and concerns, offering prompt and practical guidance.
- Advise managers on performance issues, conduct concerns, and grievances in accordance with HR policy and UAE Labour Law.
- Refer complex or high-risk employee relations matters to the Group HR Director along with suggested next steps.
Performance Management
- Support the implementation of the Group’s performance management framework.
- Coach managers on goal setting, mid-year reviews, performance conversations, and development planning.
- Ensure all related documentation and procedures are completed correctly and within deadlines.
HR Policy Implementation & Compliance
- Apply HR policies, processes, and governance standards consistently across both business units.
- Help managers and employees understand HR procedures and compliance requirements.
- Keep employee files and HR documentation accurate and aligned with Group standards.
Learning & Development
- Assess training needs across Development and Consulting teams using manager feedback, skills reviews, and performance discussions.
- Coordinate and support technical, functional, and soft-skills training in line with the Group Learning & Development framework.
- Partner with the Group HR Director on leadership development, coaching, and career growth initiatives.
- Monitor participation, review training effectiveness, and help improve learning programs over time.
- Support employees and managers in creating and executing Individual Development Plans.
- Coordinate with external training providers when needed, balancing quality and cost efficiency.
Support for HR Projects & Initiatives
- Contribute to Group-wide projects such as organisational design, culture initiatives, HRIS/ERP implementation, compensation and benefits reviews, and employee experience improvements.
- Take part in or lead change management activities linked to HR transformation work.
Reporting & HR Analytics
- Prepare HR dashboards and reports for the business units, covering headcount, attrition, recruitment pipeline status, and employee issues.
- Analyse workforce data and trends to provide useful insights and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should bring 5 to 8 years of progressive HR generalist experience, ideally in real estate development, consulting, or project-based environments. Strong capability in recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations is essential, along with a solid understanding of UAE Labour Law and HR best practices. Experience supporting HR projects or transformation initiatives is also expected.
