About the Role
A market-leading company based in Dublin city centre is seeking an Information Technology Support Analyst to join their established and strong team on a permanent basis. This role requires an on-site presence.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective and timely technical support to end-users, addressing a variety of IT issues.
- Identify and resolve IT problems and issues as they arise.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems both on-site and through cloud services.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of user devices, including laptops and phones.
- Maintain a well-organized inventory of IT assets and resources (ITAM).
- Monitor and track issues to proactively prevent recurring problems.
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure effective registration and handling of escalations and tickets.
- Contribute to IT projects, such as software deployments and hardware upgrades.
- Escalate technical issues to other team members when necessary.
Skills and Requirements
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical support capacity.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Azure AD, and managing security groups.
- Experience in handling access requests and managing user permissions.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot Office 365 issues and software installations.
- Strong proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven teamwork capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a robust work ethic.
- A genuine enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
