The Opportunity

This is a unique, hands-on 6-month paid placement designed for a talented and driven Interior Design Intern to join our London team. You will be fully integrated into live projects, working alongside experienced designers, project managers, and contractors. This role offers exposure to all facets of the design process, allowing you to contribute to real client projects, see your ideas materialize, and gain practical, in-depth experience within a high-performing creative team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the design development process from initial concept through to final completion.
• Assisting in the creation of technical drawings, compelling presentations, and mood boards.
• Conducting research on various materials, identifying suitable suppliers, and sourcing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
• Collaborating with the broader team to ensure the timely delivery of live project components.
• Utilizing both traditional design methodologies and innovative AI tools to enhance creative output, operational efficiency, and presentation quality.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a creative, motivated graduate with a genuine passion for high-end residential design and a strong desire to learn within a dynamic, fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and a commitment to excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Possession of an Interior Design degree or equivalent qualification, with a strong academic record (2:1 or above).
• A well-developed design sensibility and demonstrable creative flair.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current design trends and a network of relevant suppliers.
• A foundational understanding of UK construction practices and project specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Competence in SketchUp.
• Skilled in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• A proactive, organized, and adaptable attitude with a 'can-do' mindset.

Desirable Skills

• Ability in freehand sketching.
• Prior experience with 3ds Max or similar 3D modeling software.
• A demonstrated interest or experience in applying AI tools within the design field.
