Language Evaluator

Role overview

This is a remote, part-time contract opportunity for fluent language professionals who can support the training and assessment of AI language models. The work can be done entirely from home and is designed to offer flexible scheduling.

Compensation

Pay goes up to USD 29 per hour and is issued on a weekly basis.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI-produced text and judge it for quality, correctness, and natural flow.
• Draft brief prompts and original responses that help improve AI training.
• Compare multiple AI outputs and rank them using set evaluation standards.
• Submit written comments on language quality and related observations.

Profile sought

Candidates should be fluent in their target language and English, have a bachelor’s degree or above, and ideally come from a background connected to humanities, languages, or writing. Prior professional work in writing, teaching, translation, editing, annotation, or similar language-focused roles is expected. A careful approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow evaluation instructions are important.

Preferred background

Experience in linguistics, academic writing, data annotation, or AI content evaluation will be considered an advantage.

Work arrangement

This role is fully remote, with flexible hours that you can set yourself. It is a part-time contract position and may suit either a main income stream or additional earnings.
