The Learning and Development Lead will be based in Riyadh and report to the Learning and Development Manager within the Learning & Development Office. This role is responsible for supporting L&D plans and initiatives, helping execute learning activities, and monitoring their outcomes across the business.
Learning measurement and evaluation
This position will gather learner feedback, run surveys and questionnaires, and assess whether training leads to real behavior change at work. It also includes designing and tracking knowledge checks, reviewing post-learning responses, and evaluating the impact of learning on workplace performance.
For higher-value learning programs, the role will also help measure return on investment by defining pre- and post-training indicators and analyzing the results.
Data analysis and reporting
The L&D Lead will maintain accurate records of learning activities, assessment outcomes, behavior change indicators, ROI measures, and business improvement evidence linked to training.
The role requires regular analysis of learning data to identify gaps, improvement areas, and opportunities to strengthen the learning approach. Insights and recommendations will be prepared to support evidence-based decisions and ongoing improvement.
Execution follow-up and coordination
This role will work closely with learners and their managers to ensure learning plans are carried out and objectives are completed. Follow-ups must be done on time to track progress and collect outcome data after learning activities.
If learning plans are not completed or if major issues arise, the role is expected to escalate them to senior management when needed.
Stakeholder collaboration
The L&D Lead will partner with the Learning & Development Manager on daily operations and reporting, while also coordinating with employees, managers, and supervisors to support learning delivery and data collection.
The role must also ensure that learning activities remain aligned with business requirements across operating companies.
Projects and continuous improvement
In addition to core responsibilities, the role will contribute to special projects assigned by the Learning & Development Manager to strengthen the learning agenda.
It will also support improvements in learning measurement methods, tools, and reporting standards.
Performance measures
- Quality and completeness of learning records
- Depth and accuracy of learning data analysis
- Rate at which learning objectives are completed
- Speed and consistency of follow-up and learning outcome reporting
Skills and competencies
The role calls for strong analytical ability, the capacity to interpret data, excellent communication, effective stakeholder management, and strong attention to detail. The candidate should be able to organize work well, prioritize multiple learning activities, and maintain structured records. A collaborative approach and a strong service mindset are also important.
Behavioral strengths expected in this role include analytical thinking, focus on achievement, adaptability, capability-building, and teamwork.
Role requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a graduate degree, preferably in HR or Learning, and bring 3 years of experience in the organizational learning field, ideally within FMCG. Strong command of MS Excel and general computer applications is required, and experience with LMS platforms will be considered an advantage. The role also requires good English communication skills, strong analytical and communication ability, and disciplined record keeping.
