Logistics Coordinator / Shipping Coordinator

Role Overview

This position is for a detail-focused logistics and shipping professional who will oversee shipment handling, support day-to-day logistics activities, and help ensure cargo reaches its destination on time while meeting shipping and customs compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shipments across air, sea, and land transportation for both domestic and international movements.
• Draft, check, and organize shipping paperwork such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs-related forms.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping carriers, transport vendors, warehouse teams, and customs clearance partners.
• Monitor shipment progress, keep delivery timelines on track, and address any transport or logistics issues that arise.
• Make sure all activities follow import/export rules as well as client-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support accurate and timely order completion.
• Keep shipment logs, logistics records, and reporting documents updated and accurate.
• Track freight expenses and contribute ideas to improve logistics processes.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain functions is expected.
• Sound knowledge of shipping documents, customs procedures, and international trade processes is necessary.
• Hands-on experience handling air, sea, and land freight coordination is needed.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook, is important.
• Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
