Manager - Tanfeeth

Job Description

The Manager - Tanfeeth role is pivotal in overseeing and executing all facets of the Tanfeeth program. This position is responsible for the comprehensive management, monitoring, and successful completion of program activities, ensuring adherence to established goals and maintaining the quality of associated processes. Key duties include managing case closures, liaising with SAMA, and addressing technical system issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all activities within the Tanfeeth program, ensuring tasks and alerts align with program guidelines.
• Ensure the timely completion of all Tanfeeth alerts within SAMA's stipulated turnaround times and resolve any arising issues promptly.
• Facilitate communication with SAMA regarding case actions related to Tanfeeth instructions.
• Coordinate with the SAMA Technical team to resolve any technical challenges impacting the Tanfeeth system or WatheegEdge.
• Collaborate with various departments to address requirements and dependencies for Tanfeeth alerts efficiently.
• Work cross-functionally to guarantee the seamless processing of Tanfeeth activities and alerts across different teams.
• Maintain meticulous records of all Tanfeeth-related activities, including alerts, escalations, and their resolutions.
• Manage and monitor requests and activities within the Tanfeeth Portal and SAMA Net Portal, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Handle requests within the Watheqedge System and follow up with relevant parties for prompt resolution and status updates.
• Liaise with SAMA to discuss SAMA Net cases and ensure their closure in compliance with regulations.
• Provide support for compliance-related requests, ensuring timely and compliant handling.
• Mitigate the bank's risk exposure by preventing failures in executing Tanfeeth and SAMA Net instructions, thereby avoiding irregularities and reputational damage.
• Escalate any potential non-compliance with SAMA requirements or failure to respond to SAMA cases to the Head of Tanfeeth.
• Monitor Tanfeeth and SAMA Net Dashboards continuously (24/7) and report any abnormal case traffic.
• Provide on-the-job training and awareness to new Tanfeeth staff and evaluate their performance.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the line manager pertinent to the role.
• Enforce, integrate, and adhere to all essential controls and information security policies, procedures, practices, training, reporting, and due diligence within departmental operations.

Qualifications

A tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution is preferred.

Years & Nature of Experience

• A recommended 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar or related field.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
• An experienced professional capable of delivering on complex technical tasks.
• Experience in project implementation is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage small project responsibilities.
• Previous experience providing technical supervision to junior staff is beneficial.
