About the role

RMS is looking for a driven Mortgage Data Analyst to join its team in a full-time onsite role in the United States. The position is suited to someone who wants to grow in data analysis and project coordination within the mortgage domain. The analyst will help drive informed decisions by working with complex datasets, supporting project execution, and maintaining high standards of data quality across systems. The role also offers exposure to multiple functions across the business and the chance to contribute to operational improvement and client-facing outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the intake and loading of datasets into proprietary internal systems while keeping the information complete and accurate.
• Work with large data files in Excel and related tools to uncover patterns, irregularities, and actionable insights.
• Create, update, and improve reports and dashboards that track important performance measures and support decision-making.
• Carry out validation checks and error review processes to maintain reliable and trustworthy data.
• Assist with project management tasks such as planning, progress tracking, and milestone documentation.
• Partner with teams across the organization to help ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Prepare project notes, presentations, and reports for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements that strengthen data workflows and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• About 1 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, project coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization methods.
• Exposure to mortgage industry concepts and data structures is considered an advantage.
• Sharp analytical thinking with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and perform well under deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
