Role Overview

Poetic is seeking a detail-driven Operations Analyst to act as the analytical center of its three core business lines. In this role, you will be the primary source of truth for data, making sure that commitments, delivery, and billing remain fully aligned.

The position calls for someone who is comfortable with technology and process improvement, and who can use business intelligence tools and AI-enabled workflows to simplify reconciliation work and remove manual slowdowns. This is a fully remote position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Build a strong understanding of the backend systems, with particular attention to payment processing and the events that trigger invoices.
• Run ongoing tri-point reconciliation across invoiced amounts, actual spend, and budget to keep records accurate.
• Support Marketing Specialists as the technical point of contact, ensuring their budgeting tools reflect current financial information.
• Manage data movement in NetSuite so monthly recurring revenue billing is processed correctly.
• Closely monitor customer records and project setup data to prevent billing gaps and service mismatches.
• Maintain accurate oversight of the Creative Catalog so assets are tracked and billed in line with contract terms.
• Review project billing activity to confirm milestones are completed and invoiced properly.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Operations Management, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability, including the ability to create dependable, scalable models and well-structured datasets for cross-functional use.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or comparable systems.
• Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar solutions.
• Genuine interest in automation and emerging technologies, including AI tools such as LLMs and workflow automation platforms like Zapier, with the ability to use them to improve data accuracy, reporting quality, and operational efficiency.
• Strong systems-thinking ability, with the capacity to map and understand end-to-end workflows across connected tools, processes, and data flows.

Compensation

The estimated pay range for this remote position is USD 60,000 to USD 70,000 per year. The final offer may vary based on the candidate’s skills, experience, training, certifications, and other relevant factors. The company notes that a new hire would not typically be placed at the top of this range.
