Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Logistics Operations Manager who will coordinate daily logistics activity across wholesale, ecommerce, and third-party fulfillment. The role is the main operational contact for the 3PL partner and is responsible for keeping inventory accurate, shipments moving on time, vendor communication clear, and performance reporting visible across the organization.

The ideal candidate is detail-focused, operationally strong, and comfortable juggling several priorities at once. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, the ability to solve problems quickly, and a willingness to help create scalable logistics processes as the business expands.

3PL and Fulfillment Oversight

Serve as the organization’s main day-to-day contact for the 3PL partner, handling communication, issue resolution, and operational follow-up.
Track inbound receipts, outbound fulfillment, stock discrepancies, ASN status, routing adherence, and shipping timeliness.
Work with warehouse teams to support accurate receiving, packing, fulfillment, and returns handling.
Quickly identify and address shipment delays, inventory mismatches, operational slowdowns, and fulfillment problems.
Look for ways to strengthen fulfillment processes, inventory precision, and overall operational efficiency.

Wholesale Logistics and Vendor Coordination

Manage outbound wholesale shipments and coordinate routing, shipping schedules, and documentation with wholesale partners and vendors.
Communicate with vendors about shipment readiness, routing requirements, carton specifications, delivery timing, and freight arrangements.
Track shipments to help ensure wholesale orders arrive correctly and within expected timelines.
Support purchase order monitoring and inventory movement across multiple channels.
Partner with buying, operations, and finance teams to keep the order lifecycle running smoothly.

Reporting and Operational Control

Own logistics and fulfillment reporting for ecommerce and wholesale activity.
Monitor and report on fulfillment SLAs, shipping results, inventory variances, return patterns, and key operational metrics.
Create and maintain dashboards and trackers that improve visibility for cross-functional teams.
Assist with forecasting operational requirements and spotting opportunities for better scalability and process design.
Support reconciliation work related to freight, shipping costs, and warehouse activity.

Cross-Functional Support

Work closely with Customer Experience, Buying, Finance, and Operations teams to support daily business needs.
Help develop SOPs and document operational processes.
Assist in implementing and improving tools and systems used in logistics workflows.
Contribute to special projects and process improvement work as needed.

Qualifications

This role calls for at least 4 years of experience in logistics, operations, supply chain, wholesale operations, or fulfillment management. A background managing 3PLs, warehouses, freight partners, or fulfillment providers is required. Strong knowledge of wholesale shipping, routing, inventory control, and fulfillment operations is important, along with excellent organization, strong follow-through, and clear professional communication.

The position also requires comfort working across teams in a fast-moving startup or ecommerce setting. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills are needed for reporting and analysis. Experience with Shopify, ERP/WMS platforms, inventory tools, or logistics software is preferred.
