Role Overview

This position is central to creating a smooth front-office experience for patients, clinic staff, and referral partners. The ideal candidate brings experience in reception or front desk work, communicates clearly, and is comfortable using computers and office systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, answer questions, and provide guidance about wait times at the reception desk.
  • Carry out patient check-in tasks, including confirming and updating demographic and insurance information.
  • Process walk-in registrations when needed.
  • Collect patient payments such as deductibles, copays, and coinsurance.
  • Arrange follow-up appointments, including cast and measure visits, deliveries, and prosthetic care planning.
  • Act as a point of contact for clinic-related support, including patient experience resources, support groups, and similar services.
  • Work with the Revenue Cycle Management team to gather the information required for patient records and billing processes.
  • Maintain complete and accurate electronic health records.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or an equivalent mix of education and work experience.
  • Less than one year of experience in customer service, administration, or a related field.
  • Prior exposure to receptionist duties or medical front office work is preferred.
  • Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and meet the standards outlined in the company’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
