Performance Testing Engineer

Role Overview

This position is for a performance testing professional working with a delivery team to support client engagements in the technology domain. The role focuses on ensuring quality outcomes, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction while contributing to efficient, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to support quality assurance activities, address issues, and help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Understand business and technical requirements, review designs, validate architecture, and help ensure the delivery of strong service outcomes.
• Contribute to project estimation, provide inputs that support solution delivery, and assist with technical risk planning.
• Review code and unit test plans to help maintain quality and consistency in deliverables.
• Guide team members toward producing optimized, high-quality code and support continuous knowledge sharing across the team.
• Follow organizational standards, processes, and governance practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Play an important role in building efficient programs and systems that support clients in their digital transformation efforts.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Hands-on knowledge of performance testing across tools, techniques, and workflows.
• Exposure to more than one technology stack.
• Foundational understanding of architecture and design principles.
• Familiarity with testing tools and agile methodologies.
• Understanding of development and maintenance project lifecycle activities.
• Awareness of estimation approaches and quality processes.
• Basic business domain knowledge to interpret requirements accurately.
• Strong analytical thinking, technical capability, and communication skills.
• Good understanding of both the technology and the business context.
• Ability to apply software quality assurance principles, SOLID design concepts, and modelling methods.
• Awareness of current technologies and industry trends.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Education

Accepted qualifications include MCA, MSc, MTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BCA, BSc, and BTech.

Pune, India. The title also references possible deployment locations in Bengaluru, Noida, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram.
