About the Role
Hyatt Place Al Ula is seeking a skilled Pre-opening Procurement Agent to assist with the crucial pre-opening phase of the hotel. This role is vital for ensuring that all operational supplies and equipment are sourced and coordinated effectively for a timely launch. Hyatt Place Al Ula is set to be a significant addition to the region, offering 215 guestrooms, diverse dining options, meeting facilities, a pool, and a fitness center, catering to both business and leisure guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the sourcing and acquisition of necessary hotel operational supplies and equipment.
- Manage supplier interactions, including following up on quotations, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including tracking documents and essential paperwork.
- Aid in the evaluation of supplier quotations and the preparation of procurement summaries.
- Oversee the status of orders and ensure smooth coordination for timely deliveries.
- Liaise with various internal hotel departments to address procurement needs.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the broader procurement team.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles.
- Proficiency in organizational and coordination tasks.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to follow through on tasks.
- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and adhere to deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
- Prior involvement in hotel pre-opening projects is considered a valuable asset.
