Role overview
This opportunity is with a Cork-based fintech company that develops financial analytics software relied on by hundreds of organisations worldwide. The business is in the middle of a major rebuild of its data foundations, and the hire will be central to shaping how that transformation is delivered. Two Product Manager roles are available, both focused on the data platform.
What the role covers
This is a wide-ranging Product Manager position with ownership across the full data platform lifecycle: from how information enters the system, is shaped and cleaned, to how it is turned into usable value for the business and its customers. The role may lean toward one of two areas depending on your strengths.
- Inbound focus: Work with engineering teams on ETL and data integration, support the move of infrastructure to Snowflake, and help replace existing analytics and reporting tools with a modern BI solution.
- Outbound focus: Concentrate on how the platform creates value, including how data is extracted and presented, with a view toward future AI and machine learning capabilities.
The roadmap is not fully prescribed. The overall direction is already established, but the approach and shape of delivery will be influenced by the person in the role. This position suits someone who is comfortable thinking strategically about what could be built, not only managing execution.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Manager who wants to step into a technically demanding environment. You should be comfortable working directly with developers, or have a technical background yourself, and be able to contribute confidently in technical discussions without translation.
A major strength for this role is the ability to simplify complexity. You should be able to take messy, unstructured input from stakeholders, quickly identify the real requirement, and translate it into something engineering teams can build against.
Strong analytical thinking and a genuine curiosity about the potential of data are essential. Experience in machine learning, agentic AI, or a mathematically oriented discipline would be a strong plus. Just as important are excellent people skills, the ability to draw useful insight from stakeholders who may not fully know what they need, and the confidence to bring technical and business teams together.
You should be equally comfortable in engineering discussions and business-facing conversations. Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable data warehousing tools would be an advantage, as would exposure to B2B SaaS or other data-focused environments.
Why this role stands out
This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership from the outset. It offers the chance to take on a complex technical challenge within a company investing heavily in its data capability, with AI and machine learning expected to play a growing role. It is a rare opportunity to help shape a data platform being built from the ground up and influence both what gets delivered and what becomes possible next.

The company is recruiting for two Product Manager positions. The work location is Cork, County Cork, Ireland, and the setup is hybrid.
