Role Summary
In this position, you will support the delivery of battery and energy storage solutions within the Data Center Solutions team. The role covers the full project flow, from design and planning through installation, testing, and commissioning, with a focus on technical compliance, timely execution, and customer satisfaction. It is a good fit for a junior engineer interested in data centers, energy storage, and critical infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
As part of the project team, you will contribute to engineering and implementation work for battery and storage systems, coordinate with subcontractors, and help keep projects on schedule and within scope. You will also work closely with internal teams and on-site stakeholders to support delivery and resolve technical issues.
Additional Information
This position is based in Dresden, Saxony, Germany and is an on-site, full-time role. The employer is looking for someone with a technical background and, due to business needs, Chinese language capability is required in addition to English.
Requirements
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, energy systems, or a similar discipline. Around 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred, particularly in data centers, batteries, UPS systems, or energy storage. You should have a solid foundation in electrical systems, power distribution, battery technologies, and practical proficiency with MS Office. Strong written and spoken English is essential, and additional European languages are considered an advantage.
Who Can Apply
This opportunity is suited to junior engineers with relevant academic training and some practical exposure to engineering projects, especially in the areas of data center infrastructure, UPS, batteries, or energy storage.
