About the role
Mace combines construction know-how with consulting expertise to help people and projects achieve more and push beyond expected limits. The company’s values guide how it works and the kind of people it aims to bring on board.
The project
This role sits on one of the largest initiatives currently underway in Saudi Arabia. The programme is a major mixed-use development featuring sports venues, entertainment, and arts components, together with the supporting infrastructure required to deliver it.
Role overview
The position provides administrative support for quality assurance activities and helps the QA team maintain effective processes across the project.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, roll out, and keep updated project-specific QA plans, procedures, and inspection/test plans that align with Mace requirements and the client’s standards.
- Track contractor adherence to specifications, approved drawings, and quality expectations across civil works, utilities, and infrastructure scopes.
- Carry out routine site checks, audits, and surveillance activities to confirm work is being executed in line with QA/QC procedures and applicable regulations.
- Handle non-conformance cases end to end, including detection, root-cause review, corrective action tracking, and final closure.
- Assess and sign off material submissions, method statements, and quality records before construction starts.
- Work closely with delivery teams, contractors, and stakeholders to build a strong quality mindset and support right-first-time delivery.
Requirements
- Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or an equivalent record of professional or personal development.
- Background in the delivery stage of projects and programmes within consultancy settings.
- Strong experience in infrastructure project management.
- Commercial awareness and financial understanding.
- Experience working effectively within large and varied teams.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across projects.
- Understanding of how carbon and sustainability priorities influence project direction.
- Ability to meet visa requirements for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with relevant experience on high-value projects/programmes for a project management consultancy, for immigration and client approval purposes.
Values and working approach
Mace places safety, client commitment, integrity, and continuous improvement at the centre of its culture. It encourages a safe and inclusive environment, delivers on promises, acts ethically, and creates opportunities for people to grow and excel.
Working options
The organisation is open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working arrangements where these can be accommodated by the role.
Inclusion statement
Mace welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and encourages applications even from those who may not meet every criterion, as they could still be the right fit for this role or for another opportunity within the organisation.
