Job Summary
We are looking for a careful, insight-driven Research Analyst who can investigate data, interpret findings, and turn them into recommendations that help guide business decisions and strategy. In this role, you will source information from a variety of channels, study market movements, build reports, and share clear conclusions with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out both qualitative and quantitative research using a mix of internal and external data sources.
- Gather, examine, and interpret information to uncover patterns, trends, and commercial opportunities.
- Create research reports, slide decks, and concise executive-level summaries.
- Complete market, industry, and competitor assessments.
- Build and update databases, dashboards, and research records.
- Track market developments and translate them into practical recommendations.
- Work with teams across functions to support strategic projects and initiatives.
- Check research outputs for accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Share findings and recommendations with managers and other stakeholders.
- Assist with additional research assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Market Research, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a similar discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in research, data analysis, business analysis, or another analytical position.
- Strong ability to think critically and analyze information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with data analysis and reporting software.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to balance multiple research tasks and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, or comparable analytics tools.
- Understanding of statistical methods and research techniques.
- Background in market research or competitive intelligence.
- Familiarity with survey platforms and data visualization tools.
- Experience handling large datasets and business intelligence systems.
