Sanitation Operator

About the role

Krispy Kreme has built its legacy around serving fresh doughnuts made from the original recipe introduced in 1937. The well-known Hot Light signals when doughnuts are being prepared in the shop, inviting customers to enjoy them warm and fresh.

In this role, you will help maintain a bright, clean, and welcoming environment for guests by taking care of sanitation throughout the store, surrounding outdoor areas, and the parking lot. Cleanliness is a key part of the customer experience at Krispy Kreme, and this position plays an important part in that standard.

Key responsibilities

• Clean all required areas inside and outside the shop by sweeping regularly.
• Mop the designated indoor spaces to keep the store tidy and safe.
• Spray and clean the parking lot and wash the shop windows as needed.
• Sanitize, restock, and maintain the bathroom areas.
• Ensure the customer seating area stays clean and that tables and chairs are properly disinfected.
• Organize and maintain stockroom supplies in an orderly way.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Should be committed to supporting an inclusive and respectful workplace.

Physical demands and work environment

• The role may require lifting or moving objects with up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Work may involve exposure to both indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Store conditions can include changing temperatures and varying noise levels.
• The job may involve exposure to common allergens, including nuts.
• The environment can include production or processing area noise.
