Job Overview
This role is for a SAS Developer based in Hyderabad. The position calls for hands-on SAS and SAS programming capability, along with the ability to contribute to consulting engagements across multiple project stages.
Technical Requirements
The core technical expectation is strong working knowledge of SAS and SAS programming. Experience with ETL concepts, SAS SQL, Proc SQL, data cleansing, and SAS-based reporting is relevant to the role.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the consulting team throughout the project lifecycle, including clarifying the problem, estimating effort, analyzing options, designing solutions, and helping with deployment.
You will research possible approaches, review literature and publicly available information, evaluate vendors when needed, and build proof-of-concepts to validate ideas.
You will translate business needs into clear requirement specifications, map current and future processes, and prepare detailed functional designs.
You will assist with configuration of solution requirements, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, seek clarifications where needed, and narrow down practical solution choices.
You will also contribute to unit-level and wider organizational initiatives aimed at delivering strong, value-driven outcomes for clients.
Education
Applicants should have one of the following qualifications: MCA, MSc, MTech, Bachelor of Engineering, BCA, or BSc, in any specialization.
Eligibility
Candidates from BCA, B.Tech/B.E., or B.Sc backgrounds in any specialization are eligible to apply. The role is also suitable for applicants with MCA, MSc, MTech, or Bachelor of Engineering qualifications.
