Role overview
Kent is looking for an experienced Security System Specialist to support security system pre-commissioning, commissioning, and integrated testing activities in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role calls for deep hands-on expertise across security subsystems and their interfaces with wider site infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Use OPERCOM™ and ICAPS© applications as part of the commissioning workflow.
- Bring at least 15 years of overall experience in security systems, with around 10 years specifically spent in pre-commissioning and commissioning work.
- Carry out pre-functional and functional testing for all security systems in line with approved procedures and checklists.
- Lead and support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) across CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, networked security systems, and building management interlocks.
- Check and verify system interfaces with other site systems such as fire alarm and BMS platforms.
- Collaborate with main contractors, MEP and ICT teams, vendors, site engineers, and consultants to identify, troubleshoot, and close out testing issues.
Experience and technical background
The position requires extensive practical experience in security system commissioning environments, along with the ability to work across multiple technical teams and resolve interface-related test concerns efficiently.
