Shift Lead

Role overview

B&Q is looking for a Shift Lead to join the Bristol Cribbs Causeway store on a permanent, full-time basis. The position is for 36.75 hours per week and carries a full-time equivalent pay of £27,709.50 per year, which includes a store-specific location allowance of £0.51 per hour. The package also includes pension support and 6.6 weeks of holiday.

This is a keyholder role with working times that can begin as early as 6:00 am and finish as late as 9:00 pm.

The business aims to help customers find the ideas, advice, tools and confidence they need to create a home they will love. In this role, you will play an important part in delivering that experience every day.

What you will do

As Shift Lead, you will help create a safe environment for both shopping and working while guiding the day-to-day flow of the store. You will take ownership of your shift, support a strong customer experience, and help colleagues work effectively across the store.

• Act as the day-to-day driving force behind smooth store operations.
• Ensure colleagues are placed appropriately so customer needs are met throughout the shift.
• Serve as the main contact for customers and team members during your shift.
• Maintain a safe store environment at all times.
