About the role
New Balance is looking for a stockroom coordinator to join the Zweibrücken store on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week. The role is suited to someone who enjoys warehouse work, wants to grow with a global brand, and can help maintain smooth operations across stock and sales areas. Key responsibilities
- Step in as Duty Manager when needed and take charge on the shop floor.
- Support the delivery of business goals by following current SOPs and maintaining required stockroom and delivery standards.
- Act as a key holder, including opening the store to receive deliveries and, on occasion, closing the store.
- Stay in daily contact with the Store Manager to align on stockroom and floor-related matters.
- Keep the stockroom orderly and ensure company standards are met, including tagging, sorting, and presenting items correctly, using specialist equipment where required.
- Make sure deliveries are processed on time and productivity targets are achieved.
- Handle RTVs (returns to vendor) and keep the management team updated on progress and any support needed.
- Replenish the sales floor promptly based on store demand.
- Assist external teams during stock counts and contribute to shrink reduction efforts.
- Maintain accurate stock records by identifying and correcting discrepancies as items are received.
- Alert the team to stock issues such as low or excess inventory through analysis and clear communication.
- Work closely with the Visual Merchandiser to move merchandise to the sales floor in a planned and strategic way.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail stockroom and delivery handling.
- Self-driven mindset and willingness to keep developing.
- Strong eye for detail.
- Fluent English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident use of PC systems, including Excel, Word, and stock management software.
Work schedule
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week.
