Role Overview
This position supports store and professional customer delivery operations for an automotive parts retailer in Calhoun, Georgia. The driver is responsible for moving parts safely, helping with customer service, supporting sales efforts, and keeping the store and surrounding areas organized.
Key Duties
- Collect, stage, and safely deliver parts to professional customers.
- Pick up returned items and core parts.
- Distribute weekly and monthly sales flyers while promoting active sales and loyalty programs.
- Handle daily collection efforts for credit accounts.
- Develop and preserve relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, while sharing delivery-related insights with the CPP.
- Support upselling and cross-selling efforts to help raise average transaction value.
- Keep the store clean, including floors, restrooms, facing, dusting, and the parking lot.
- Perform general stocking tasks such as truck stocking, back stock handling, and cycle counts.
- Stay current on product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
- Interact with walk-in customers to understand needs and suggest suitable parts or services.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills
- Fluent spoken and written English; Spanish is an advantage.

- Comfort reading safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance guides, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.
- Accurate basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Availability to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Confidence in customer engagement and product promotion.
- Willingness to learn new products and selling techniques.
Experience and Education
Prior automotive parts experience is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
License and Physical Requirements
A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is mandatory. The role is primarily active, with most time spent walking or standing. The employee must be able to speak and hear, use hands and fingers, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds is required, and occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance may be necessary. Close, distance, color, and depth vision, along with the ability to adjust focus, are needed.
Work Environment
The work is mostly indoors, but some outdoor exposure is expected when performing tasks such as battery and wiper blade installation. The environment may also include moving mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, electrical shock hazards, explosives, and vibration. Noise levels are generally moderate.
