Key responsibilities

• Manage the storage and preservation of critical project materials so they remain usable for the required period and perform as expected.
• Oversee material handling for both manual and SAP-based workflows, including shelf-life tracking and adherence to OEM-specific material group rules.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using perpetual inventory methods and selective stock verification.
• Run gate-entry and material-receipt processes, including document checking, physical inspection, acceptance, and rejection handling.
• Handle supplier debit and credit notes, bill processing, transit insurance, e-way bills, and RGP/NRGP procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and coordinate with legal and government authorities as needed.
• Use knowledge of power plant components and project materials to manage store operations in line with their functional and operational needs.
• Plan and develop warehouse infrastructure to support project and operational requirements.
• Inspect incoming materials carefully and carry out periodic checks to confirm safety and quality compliance.
• Manage unloading, safety practices, correct storage methods, GPN posting in SAP, and user inspection/rejection entries in the system.
• Process material issuance, transfer postings, and consumption updates in SAP while ensuring proper space use and accurate mapping of spare parts to physical and logical locations.
• Oversee fuel handling activities including tanker receipt, quality testing, measurement, decantation, accounting, underground tank measurement, dispensing, documentation, and reconciliation as per Gazette notifications.
