Storeman Trainee

Role Overview

Valmet is seeking a motivated and self-starting team player to join its Operations function as a Storeman Trainee in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This is a 12-month trainee program designed for recent graduates who want to build practical experience in warehouse and operations work within an industrial environment.

The position is centered on learning standard warehousing routines, supporting material flow, and working closely with internal teams under close guidance. It is a good fit for someone eager to develop professionally while contributing to day-to-day operations.

What You Will Do

• Learn and support the standard practices used for receiving and issuing materials.
• Track up with relevant stakeholders to help ensure delivery dates are met.
• Keep Warehouse Management informed about order progress.
• Work alongside Planning and Production teams to support smooth workflow.
• Gain knowledge of how customs clearance paperwork is prepared and monitored.
• Share progress and outcomes against the defined KPIs.
• Operate under very close supervision.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant is a recent graduate with a diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering Technology. You should be collaborative, able to communicate well, comfortable working with details, and willing to take initiative when needed. Flexibility and a strong willingness to learn are important for success in this role.

Eligibility

This opportunity is intended for recent university or college graduates who are ready to begin a 12-month traineeship in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Applicants must be fluent in both Arabic and English. A background in Industrial, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering Technology is required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is considered an advantage.
