About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Accept and examine incoming shipments, verifying correct quantities and adherence to quality standards.
• Update and maintain precise inventory records, conducting regular stock counts and audits.
• Organize and store inventory securely in designated warehouse locations.
• Utilize the company's warehouse management system for inventory tracking and management.
• Report any damaged items, stock discrepancies, or other issues to management.
• Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately.

What We're Looking For

• Prior experience as a Stores Operative or in a comparable role within logistics, distribution, or supply chain.
• Capability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously using initiative, and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic IT and experience with inventory or warehouse management software.

Hours And Pay

• The role involves a 37-hour work week, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, with an early finish on Fridays at 1:00 pm.
