Descrizione del lavoro
Role overview
The Asia Pacific/Latin America Supply & Inventory Management team is responsible for managing purchased supply and owned inventory in a way that supports profitable growth. In this role, you will work with teams across the Geography and Territory, along with global supply and inventory partners, to oversee finished goods purchasing and recovery actions that address buy and late-delivery challenges.
What this role is about
Nike is hiring a Supply & Inventory Planner to support seasonal planning and execution for a specific territory. You will act as the main contact for supply planning and purchasing activities, making sure the right products are planned and bought at the right time. The role calls for someone who can identify risks and opportunities early, raise issues when needed, and keep cross-functional partners informed so the business can deliver strong results.
Success in this position requires strong analytical thinking, a habit of seeking out the right information, and the ability to handle complex business situations with sound judgment. You should also be comfortable explaining complicated or business-critical topics to a broad audience. Experience with distributor-based models or environments with many stakeholders is considered an advantage.
What you will do
- Support and help run the twice-monthly delivery planning cycle, ensuring materials are planned and purchased on schedule.
- Manage supply commitments by creating purchase orders, updating them as needed, checking accuracy, and following product movement from factory to distribution center.
- Use business data and metrics such as PIFOT, Coverage, and Unplanned to spot issues early and explain the story behind the numbers.
- Assist with flow optimization decisions, including M1, M2, and M3 activities where relevant to the Korea and Japan territory.
- Monitor inventory health closely, surface risks that could lead to unmet demand or delays, and push corrective actions when needed.
- Take part in unplanned resolution efforts and help recommend fixes such as flow changes or expedite/FAF options.
- Represent Supply & Inventory Planning in cross-functional conversations and share key metrics and actions with partner teams.
- Contribute to projects and system releases as assigned.
Who you will work with
You will report to the Supply & Inventory Management Territory Manager and collaborate with Territory Planning and Inventory Operations teams, Geography Sports Planning and Merchandising teams, Global Supply Planning, and other internal partners as required.
What you need
- At least 1 year of experience in supply/inventory planning or supply chain work.
- Bachelor’s degree, or 2 additional years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging stories.
- Ability to move comfortably between strategic, tactical, and operational work.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and facilitation skills, with the ability to build productive cross-functional and cross-cultural relationships.
- Proven analytical ability, including working with large datasets and creating executive-level storytelling.
- Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables, formulas, Power Query/Power Pivot, and macros.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills for work across multiple stakeholders.
- Good decision-making skills in ambiguous situations.
- Comfort working in a complex, fast-changing, and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to participate in assigned projects, including system releases.
Preferred technical experience
- Prior SAP experience, including PRA/PRD access, PO creation and cancellation, including MPOs, and use of Order Management Reports.
- Experience with BHP for live purchase order visibility, reporting, and downloads.
- Experience with APO DP for demand planning inputs.
- Familiarity with STR, Nike’s live buy plan, for validating buy signals.
- Familiarity with NikeConnect PMD/PDP for validating products and materials.

Reasonable accommodations are available during the interview process, including screen readers, sign language interpretation, accessible interview locations, closed captioning, and other modifications as needed.
