About the role
Woolworths Group is seeking a Team Manager for its Proactive Services function in Peppermint Grove, Western Australia. This position focuses on keeping stores well-presented, making sure trolleys are available, and supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and team members.
The role is full-time and salaried, and it suits someone who can work flexibly across early mornings, daytime shifts, late nights, and weekends. You will lead from the floor while also contributing directly to day-to-day work across multiple store environments.
What you will do
- Guide, coach, and grow a team responsible for cleaning, trolley collection, and waste-related support.
- Build rosters so daily tasks and operational needs are properly covered.
- Work closely with store leadership to spot issues, identify opportunities, and plan for upcoming priorities.
- Handle attendance and timekeeping tasks, including monitoring hours, managing absences, and following company policy.
- Purchase consumables such as cleaning materials and keep spending within budget.
- Take an active hands-on role in core operational work, including cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management, to help the team keep operations running smoothly.
What you will bring
- A strong drive to succeed, interest in retail, and a genuine focus on people and team performance.
- Willingness to work in a variety of settings, including shop floors, fridges, freezers, and carparks.
- A sharp eye for cleanliness and detail.
- The physical stamina needed for demanding manual work.
- The ability to coordinate with other department managers and store leadership on routines and timing.
- Good organisation skills to ensure the team has the equipment and supplies needed to work safely and efficiently.
- Comfort working within regulated requirements such as food safety, industrial rules, and codes of conduct.
- A valid full Australian driver licence, either Green P plates or a full licence, because trolley collection may involve use of company vehicles.
What we offer
- Discounts across Woolworths Group brands, along with a rewards program that recognises purpose-driven work.
- Well-being support, including 24/7 access to the Sonder app.
- A progressive and competitive leave policy designed to give you more time for what matters.
