Overview

An education and training institution in Lavender, Singapore is seeking a Training Centre Manager to provide overall leadership for the academy. This permanent role runs on a five-day week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Compensation consists of a basic salary plus a variable bonus.

What you'll do

  • Set the strategic direction for the academy so its goals stay aligned with business objectives, regulatory obligations, and expansion plans.

  • Handle course planning, scheduling, trainer allocation, and resource management to support efficient delivery.
  • Set up and maintain effective quality assurance processes such as trainer evaluations, student feedback collection, and ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Develop and sustain working relationships with regulators, accreditation bodies, corporate clients, and other industry partners.
  • Drive enrolment growth by tracking sales performance, monitoring pipeline and conversion data, and pushing achievement of intake targets.
  • Work with sales and marketing colleagues to plan and execute B2C and B2B recruitment campaigns, including corporate partnership opportunities.
  • Use SkillsFuture funding schemes, SSG grants, and SkillsFuture Credit as part of the academy’s learner acquisition strategy and value proposition.
  • Oversee financial performance across revenue, spending, budgeting, forecasting, and overall profit-and-loss responsibility.
  • Support academic governance by partnering with the Academic and Examination Board to maintain curriculum relevance, assessment quality, educator approvals, and compliance across the WSQ course portfolio.

Requirements

  • A degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, or a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a training centre, Private Education Institution, adult learning, or continuing education setting.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with responsibility for operations, team supervision, and financial or P&L performance.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Singapore’s private education regulatory environment, including CPE, EduTrust, SSG, WSQ, and SkillsFuture funding arrangements.
  • A proven history of delivering enrolment, revenue, operational, or business growth results.
  • The ability to lead across functions, prioritise multiple demands, and continuously improve processes.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills for working with regulators, corporate partners, students, and internal teams.
