Role overview

SP+, part of Metropolis Technologies, uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to power checkout-free parking experiences. What you will do

• Provide prompt, professional service by addressing client questions and concerns and communicating clearly throughout the guest experience.
• Perform a careful inspection of each vehicle before parking and record any observations.
• Communicate valet pricing to customers.
• Follow road rules and practice safe, defensive driving at all times.
• Escalate accidents, safety risks, unusual incidents, and policy breaches to the appropriate manager.
• Use local knowledge of streets, landmarks, and highways to help create a smooth arrival and departure experience.
• Arrive for every scheduled shift in a clean uniform, on time, and ready to work.
• Stay in full uniform for the entire shift.
• Support supervisors and managers with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid state driver’s license, have a current address, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Comfort with driving manual-transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Must be available for special scheduling needs, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and provide acceptable documentation if hired.
• Should be able to share accurate information with customers and coworkers and respond professionally to questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Must be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency values and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Should be able to follow verbal and written directions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected situations.

Physical requirements

This role involves regular standing, walking, and handling cash and equipment with the hands. Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing may be required. The job may also involve lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Compensation and benefits

The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour plus tips, with the posted range including both the base hourly wage and estimated tip earnings per hour.
