Descrizione del lavoro
Role overview
This position is designed for someone who wants hands-on exposure to building a consumer venture from the ground up. You will support an experienced founder in turning early ideas into operational reality, with the emphasis on setting up the basics rather than improving an already-established system.
About the venture studio
Liminal works as a founders' studio, partnering with experienced entrepreneurs and supporting them with expertise, capital, and resources from the earliest stages through Series B. This opening is tied to a new consumer health and wellness venture.
What the role involves
The work is practical and highly execution-focused. It calls for someone who naturally thinks about margin structure, tooling timelines, freight costs, supplier reliability, operational constraints, and whether a process can scale as the business grows.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate manufacturing and supply chain activities with suppliers and factories.
- Build and maintain costing models, pricing analyses, and other financial tracking work.
- Monitor deliverables and timelines to keep execution on track.
- Handle communication with vendors and factories; Mandarin language ability is a strong advantage.
- Support the preparation of contracts and other operational documents.
- Work closely with the founder to maintain momentum across day-to-day operations.
Ideal candidate profile
The best fit will be exceptionally detail-oriented, comfortable working in spreadsheets, able to stay composed under pressure, and willing to take ownership in uncertain or fast-changing situations. A strong work ethic, independent judgment, and a habit of spotting inconsistencies are especially important.
Duration and engagement
This is a 12-month contract role with a meaningful stipend and direct exposure to the early stages of venture building.
