Warehouse Keeper

Role overview

The Warehouse Keeper supports retail operations by handling the flow of goods and materials from receipt through storage to issue. This role focuses on accurate inventory handling, safe warehousing practices, and timely support for operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source goods and materials from local suppliers, accept incoming shipments, and carefully verify them for damage, defects, and quantity accuracy against the order.
• Report any shortages, mismatches, or damaged items immediately to the relevant manager or supervisor.
• Store stock correctly in line with warehouse inventory standards and any updated instructions from the Warehouse Manager.
• Carry out frequent inventory checks to make sure recorded stock matches the physical goods in storage.
• Inspect, clean, and perform minor upkeep on lifting and stacking equipment so operations continue smoothly and safely.
• Follow all operational, safety, environmental, and quality requirements to maintain strong warehouse performance.
• For multimedia stock, check incoming items for defects or damage, confirm the delivered quantity, notify the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor of discrepancies, and quickly retrieve and issue stored items when requested.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
