About the internship

This remote, part-time internship is with Safalta Setu, a non-profit initiative focused on connecting Army Brats and other military youth with meaningful industry exposure, mentoring, and career support. The program is led by IIT alumni and is designed to create practical opportunities, professional networks, and a long-term support ecosystem for talented young people.

What you’ll do

Create children’s book illustrations and design page layouts, character visuals, and storytelling elements that make learning materials engaging for young readers.
Develop eye-catching social media creatives, banners, and promotional graphics in Canva.
Produce visual content that stays consistent with the organization’s branding and ongoing campaigns.
Build reusable templates for routine communication and outreach work.
Work alongside the content and outreach teams to deliver strong and effective design outputs.
Share original ideas for awareness initiatives and student engagement efforts.
Refine and update existing designs based on feedback, briefs, and changing requirements.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship, be able to begin between 19 June 2026 and 24 July 2026, and commit to the full 4-month duration. Candidates should have relevant skills and genuine interest in design and content creation. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.

Other requirements

Open to students or recent graduates from any discipline who are interested in design and content creation.
Comfortable working in Canva with a sound understanding of basic design principles.
Strong creativity, attention to detail, and visual storytelling ability.
Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.

This internship is unpaid. Selected interns will work remotely, and the role involves flexible hours. The application deadline is 22 July 2026 at 11:59 PM. There are 10 openings available.
