Subject Matter Expert - Physics Internship

About the internship

This remote, part-time internship is for a physics subject matter expert who will help students resolve academic doubts by creating clear, step-by-step solutions. The role is with an ed-tech company focused on making learning support more accessible through a Q&A platform backed by tutor expertise and AI technology.

What you will do

• Answer live physics questions from students by preparing accurate solutions.
• Write the solution by hand on plain white paper using blue or black ink, then photograph and upload it in the app.
• Present answers in a detailed, easy-to-follow format that an average student can understand.
• Ensure every solution is original and free from plagiarism.

Eligibility

Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship, able to begin between 24 June 2026 and 29 July 2026, and committed for 3 months. Candidates should have relevant skills and a strong interest in the subject. Women looking to start or restart their careers are also welcome to apply.

Other requirements

• Candidates should hold a BTech, MTech, or MSc in Physics.
• Applicants with a PhD, relevant physics teaching experience, JEE Advanced/Mains or NEET experience, or a GAT qualification with a rank under 5,000 or a 98th percentile score may also be considered.
• Second- or third-year students from IIT, NIT, MIT, VIT, or BIT with at least 80% marks are eligible as well.
• Applicants should be able to dedicate 1–2 hours per day to student support.
• Strong command over core topics such as kinematics, thermodynamics, laws of motion, waves, and friction is required.
