Role overview
The Assistant F&B Supervisor supports food and beverage operations by ensuring guests receive consistently high standards of food quality and service. The role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and involves hands-on supervision within a premium hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Make sure customers are served food and hospitality that meet the highest quality expectations.
- Respond to safety issues promptly, including accidents and near-miss incidents, and carry out investigations while following EKFC safety practices to support a safer workplace and stronger compliance.
- Give team members clear direction on assignments, deadlines, and quality expectations so operations run smoothly and service standards remain high.
- Perform regular spot checks in lounge areas to confirm that food items and equipment match business requirements.
- Keep stock at appropriate levels based on current usage patterns and operational needs.
- Organize back-of-house spaces so they are efficient, practical, and designed to reduce breakage and injuries.
- Support roster planning and task allocation so every lounge area remains properly staffed and covered.
- Provide ongoing coaching on product knowledge and service sequence to improve service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications and experience
The position requires a diploma or an equivalent qualification. A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred. Candidates should bring at least 4 years of experience in hospitality, including 2 years in a supervisory position within a 5-star setting such as a restaurant supervisor role. Prior exposure to luxury hotel operations and stand-alone restaurant operations is important, along with knowledge of food safety rules and hygiene standards.
