Role Overview
This remote contract opportunity is suited to an experienced brand designer who can support a variety of branding initiatives for a fast-moving company. The position offers flexibility and the chance to shape how the organization looks and communicates across channels.
The right candidate will bring a strong body of brand work and the ability to turn business goals into clear, polished visual concepts.
Responsibilities
- Create and evolve brand identities, including logos, colour systems, typography, and visual direction.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand objectives and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Produce branded materials for both digital and print use, keeping the visual language consistent everywhere it appears.
- Explain concept choices to internal teams and apply feedback in an efficient, thoughtful way.
- Keep brand standards current and adjust guidelines when business needs change.
- Handle several projects at once while staying on schedule and maintaining strong quality.
Skills and Requirements
- Demonstrated background in brand design, supported by a portfolio of relevant work.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, plus other design software as needed.
- Good grasp of branding principles, visual storytelling, and system-based design.
- Clear communication and collaboration abilities, including confidence in presenting ideas.
- Careful attention to detail, along with strong planning and time-management skills.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setup and responding to feedback constructively.
- Availability to work according to project timelines and delivery requirements.
