Business Development Manager

Role overview

Datamark is looking for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth efforts and broaden its client portfolio. The role calls for someone who can build strategic partnerships and run effective outreach programs to unlock new business opportunities.

What you will do

• Design and roll out business development plans that support the company’s growth goals.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective and current clients through consistent communication and follow-up.
• Study market trends and competitor activity to uncover fresh opportunities.
• Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to keep business goals aligned.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetups to promote services and generate leads.
• Track key performance indicators and prepare reports to assess the impact of business development efforts.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar discipline is preferred; an MBA will be an added advantage.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within the BPO or outsourcing space.
• A strong history of meeting sales goals and contributing to revenue growth.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Comfort using CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good networking ability with a talent for building long-term professional relationships.
• Well-developed planning and prioritization skills to manage competing tasks efficiently.
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
