Computer Aided Design Technician

Role overview

A growing scaffolding and event infrastructure team in North Dublin is looking for a CAD Technician to create precise technical drawings and layout plans for scaffolding systems, event setups, temporary structures, and access solutions.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for scaffolding and event-related projects.
• Create site layouts, elevation drawings, and construction detail drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers and on-site teams to keep designs accurate and aligned with site needs.
• Update and amend drawings based on project specifications and现场 conditions.
• Organize and keep drawing logs and project records up to date.
• Support planning, design coordination, and overall project delivery.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is required; experience with 3D modelling tools is an added advantage.
• A qualification in CAD, Engineering, Construction, or a similar field is needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are important.
• Good communication and organisational abilities are essential.
• Background in layher scaffolding, construction, temporary works, or event structures is preferred but not mandatory.
