About the company

Re:act is a London-based marketing agency established by two FMCG marketers with backgrounds in health & beauty, gaming, food & drink, and technology. Since 2019, the business has expanded from a two-person team to around 40 people and now partners with recognised brands across multiple sectors. The agency focuses on creating memorable consumer moments, sparking conversations in fresh and engaging ways, and keeping authenticity central to every piece of work.

About the role

The Content Executive will play a key part in supporting the Content Strategy Manager and the wider team by handling important day-to-day executional and organisational work across social content. The role helps keep trend-led, reactive, and planned content moving smoothly, while also supporting creative briefing, content ideation, strategy input, and shoot development. Working closely with social and creative colleagues, this person will help the team stay focused on high-level thinking and strong creative direction.

This is a practical, hands-on position with scope to learn, grow, and contribute ideas. The ideal candidate will bring energy, positivity, and a proactive mindset, and will be comfortable operating in a flat structure where initiative and fresh thinking are valued. There is real opportunity to make an impact on content, ideation, process, and structure.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the content approach by breaking down campaign goals, audience understanding, category entry points, and product occasions to shape effective social tactics.
  • Support the briefing and coordination of creative work from the first idea through to final delivery.
  • Adjust plans to reflect new trends, platform changes, and shifts in audience behaviour.
  • Monitor emerging trends, platform developments, and wider industry activity so the team can respond quickly.
  • Share practical trend insights with content and social colleagues to identify creative opportunities in real time.
  • Partner with the paid media team to review monthly performance insights and use data to inform content direction.
  • Prepare content ideation briefs and contribute strategic thinking that aligns with brand goals.
  • Develop attention-grabbing social content that fits within the broader brand plan.
  • Apply learnings from performance reviews, content audits, and brand lift studies to improve the overall content approach.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively across teams to keep workflows efficient and aligned.
  • Work with the social team to ensure content follows platform best practices and connects with audiences.
  • Use insights from paid and performance teams to help define content strategy.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a content strategy role or a closely related position.
  • Comfort using editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
  • Ability to film and edit social-native content for reactive trends.
  • Strong awareness of current social trends and understanding of what performs well online.
  • A portfolio that shows original ideas and personal style, not just client work.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to own ideas and tasks independently.
  • Confidence in writing briefs and working with minimal supervision, while knowing when to seek support from peers.
  • Ability to stay calm and deliver quality work under pressure and to deadline.
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to get stuck in when needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people across different functions and seniority levels.
  • Comfort working in a dog-friendly office environment.

Benefits

  • Annual bonus scheme and new business bonus scheme.
  • Up to 29 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Summer hours.
  • Complimentary breakfast and refreshments.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Enhanced family-friendly benefits.
  • Supportive team culture and a dog-friendly office.

Inclusive hiring

The company is committed to building a workplace where people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are welcome. Candidates are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every listed requirement.
