Data Analyst (Entry / Junior)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-focused junior Data Analyst to join a growing team in Australia. This opportunity is well suited to recent graduates and early-career professionals who enjoy working with data, translating it into useful insights, and helping shape business decisions. In this role, you will work alongside colleagues from different functions to examine data, build reports, and support analytics-driven initiatives while strengthening your own technical and analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather information from multiple sources, then clean, organize, and analyze it for business use.
• Build reports, dashboards, and visual summaries that help teams make informed decisions.
• Spot patterns, trends, and opportunities that can improve processes.
• Support data checks, validation activities, and general data management tasks.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify reporting needs and expected outputs.
• Assist with performance tracking, KPI reporting, and business analysis.
• Keep clear documentation of data workflows and reporting methods.
• Contribute to ad hoc analysis and business intelligence assignments.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong aptitude for analysis and structured problem-solving.
• Careful attention to detail and accuracy when handling datasets.
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R would be beneficial.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Interest in building a long-term career in data analytics and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a similar discipline is preferred.

• Internship exposure, university assignments, or self-driven data projects will be viewed positively.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or Python is an added advantage.
