Data Analyst (Entry-Level / Junior)

Role Overview

This junior data analyst role focuses on turning raw information into practical guidance for business and operations teams. You will gather data from multiple sources, organize it for analysis, and convert findings into insights that help leaders make informed decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Collect, structure, analyze, and interpret data from different sources to support decision-making.
• Build and update reports, dashboards, and visualizations that give stakeholders a clear view of performance, trends, customer behavior, and key metrics.
• Check datasets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation, cleaning, and quality review.
• Study large data sets to spot patterns, risks, opportunities, and areas where processes or outcomes can improve.
• Present findings in a clear way through written reports and presentations that are easy for both technical and non-technical audiences to understand.
• Work with teams across the organization on forecasting, performance tracking, process optimization, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a sharp eye for detail. Comfort with spreadsheets, analysis tools, reporting systems, and data visualization software is important. Experience or familiarity with SQL, database fundamentals, statistical methods, and data handling practices will be an advantage. Strong communication and presentation skills are needed to explain complex findings in a simple, actionable way. You should also be well organized, capable of managing several priorities at once, and able to meet deadlines. Understanding of business intelligence, reporting structures, data governance, forecasting, performance measurement, and process improvement will be useful.
