About the Role
This full-time Data Analyst position is part of the IT function and supports the buildout, administration, and automation of a bordereaux management platform. The role centers on improving data quality, strengthening reporting, and enabling smooth integrations across underwriting, finance, and policy administration systems. It is a hands-on opportunity to work with contemporary data tools while contributing to operational efficiency and broader business initiatives.
The role involves close coordination with underwriting, finance, and IT teams to help keep data accurate, compliant, and usable for reporting and decision-making. It suits someone who is technically strong, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of binder management and contract programming within the bordereaux platform.
- Check underwriting, billing, and claims bordereaux to ensure compliance and data quality.
- Help connect policy administration systems with the bordereaux platform for underwriting and claims workflows.
- Create and maintain basic reports for delegated underwriting authority business and fronting activities.
- Support underwriters in simplifying policy administration tasks and improving efficiency.
- Work with the finance team on deliverables tied to delegated authority business.
- Partner with IT on reporting and data management projects.
- Use analytical thinking, sound judgment, and problem-solving to improve processes.
- Take part in business analysis, project discussions, and management presentations.
- Set personal development goals and show steady progress toward them.
- Adapt positively to change and contribute as a constructive change agent.
- Build trusted working relationships across teams.

Requirements
- A university degree in Commerce, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with technology-oriented backgrounds preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in data analysis is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
- Strong command of Power BI and advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort with learning new software and technologies quickly.
- Experience with bordereaux reporting for reinsurers or delegated underwriting authority is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
- French and English bilingualism is a plus, but not required.
